Over the past five years I’ve watched technology accelerate. In my profession of graphic design tech has permeated almost every nook and cranny. Still the real strength of creative design is built on ideas. Recently I was intrigued at the idea of A.I. (artificial intelligent) in web design. I saw the movie ‘her’ last year, and it both intrigued and creeped me out. The idea of machines thinking independent of human guidance is a lot to grasp. So when I learned about a new company called The Grid, a company dedicated to building A.I. websites, I was interested. What if the future consisted of creatives coming up with the ‘ideas’ and the machines flowing it all into an ever changing web grid? I look forward to exploring this new wave of website admins. Certainly we’re in the infancy of A.I. designed sites.
